Blackberry Reception??
 
Rogers Communications - Wireless, Digital Cable TV, Hi-Speed Internet, Home Phone

its with rogers...i hear iffy things about reception?

im in the Toronto area.....any input?

i want this phone, but reception is my biggest concern

You'll need to test it or wait for some Torontans to post... reception varies with any carrier from neighborhood to neighborhood.

I would guess their coverage is fine in Toronto. But someone who is there could tell you better. Also, you should be able to test it for a while and make sure it works for you, where you need it.

As for reception specific to the BB, I've found that my bb has superior reception compared to cell phones. I've had Sprint, Tmo and now Verizon, both with BB's and cells, and my bb's have always had as good or better reception when in the same area as my wife's phones.

Totally agree with you. Blackberrys are the only phones that get consistently good reception inside my work.

which model is this phone btw? i know there are a bunch of difff ones and it doesn't say on the website

is it just a blackberry pearl? or a number with it like 8800 or something

Sorry, what phone do you mean? The one I have now? It's a Verizon Curve 8330. Have had Verizon 8830, Tmo 8700G, Verizon 7290.

T-Mobile 8800 here. Great reception, even at my parents' house in the country with GPRS.
