Default Gmail and Google Maps don't work

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded Gmail and Google Maps and installed successfully on my 8320 Curve but I can't get it to work over the Wi-Fi network. Is there any setting that I have to configure to work over the Wi-Fi network?

Thanks

I don't think either of those will work over a wifi connection alone. They require a data plan, even if using wifi to connect.

I have only BB email plan but I am able to use Opera Mini to browse the internet using my neighbor Wi-Fi network.

Yeah, I think the latest Opera will use a stand-alone wifi. Apps are slowly gaining that capability.
