Red face 7520 NOOB Questions

Please Login to Remove!

So I just got my 7520 and I want to add apps and stuff to it and gettting along fine with that. Now I want to remove some junk that came on it. Like the enterprise activation icon or the nextel icons to there home page. I like nextel but not enough to keep there little icon there I know there has to be some way of customizing that screen. Any help please?

Thanks
John

Go over the enterprise activation icon, hold the ALT button (half moon, lower left-hand side of BB) down and click the trackwheel. You should get a menu with the option to 'Hide Application'.

There is a way to permanently delete items from your home screen. Scroll thru your home screen to Options>Advanced Options>Applications then scroll down the list to the application you no longer desire and click the thumbwheel. "Delete" is one of the options provided. It will permanently remove the offending app from your handheld.

Original question was how to delete the Enterprise Activation icon. You can not delete that one. You can only hide it.

Enterprise Activation Icon will go away once you activate on BES or I also think it will go away once you set up redirector. It has been a long time since I used redirector so I am not 100% on that one.

I have once again run my mouth/typing fingers in overdrive while my brain was in neutral
I have removed several app icons in this fashion, but the Enterprise Activation is one I've never attempted to remove, I simply hid it and ignored it.
Thanks for the correction
