Default Phoning Global Address list contacts from you blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

First of all I've been landed with this question - but don't know much about blackberry's - so any help is appreciated.

Users want to dial Global Address List contacts.

The phone number is in the "phone" field of the GAL - however we have the ext at the end of the number, so users can't dial from GAL using blackberry.

Using the lookup function, the blackberry initially dials the mobile, then when the number is answered it attempts to dial the extension number.

Is there anyway of instructing the blackberry to ignore the ext number at the end of the blackberry?
