Generally, if I'm ignoring a call it's because I'm right in the middle of something and interrupting it would be problematic. I try to get back to what I was doing as quickly as possible with as little interruption in the flow as possible (I'm a developer and there's lots of times I should probably just turn it off when I am hyper-focused on a particular item). I try to remember to hit red/green/red to clear it but don't always.
And really, it drives me batty more because I *am* a developer and it's just designed wrong. At best, the alert is mis-labeled. It should be labeled "unanswered calls" not "missed calls". The function it's supposed to serve, however, is to alert you of *missed* calls. It's faulty by design. I want to find the developer or project manager or PHB who decided it had to be the way it is and give them a clear, well-reasoned explanation of the faultiness of the current design. (okay, not really...I just want to slap them.)
Outside of this issue, some occasional random flakiness, and a "shuffle" algorithm in the media player that is woefully inadequate, I love my BlackBerry.
