Default Cingular Now Has Insurance for BBs!

Please Login to Remove!

It is about time Cingular is offering coverage to BB users, see:

http://www.cingular.com/customer_ser...ent_protection

I misread what was on the cingular site, below are the RIM models that are not covered which I assumed were; I misread it, sorry everyone.

That's awesome. AT&T uses a company called LockLine and they do not cover any PDAType devices. I wonder, since I pay Cingular if I could use their INS plan to cover mine.

Hi Chris,

Click the link on my original post and then click under Program Details:

Service Contract for Enhanced Warranty Protection Plan
(English)

This is the contract from LockLine.

How was LockLine from your experience through AT&T?

That is great news; I almost didnít buy my 7290 because they did not have insurance for it. I usually manage to destroy a phone somehow every 2 years or so. Iím going to go check it out today.

SKG,

Lockline is great. I only had to use them once because I dropped my Motorola V600 so many times that the screen would only flash over and over. I never had any problems with them. The extra money is worth it.

Ah, the one difference I did notice is that there is a $50.00 charge added to your bill if they have to replace your phone, with AT&T, the charge is on $35.00. But the way I see it, $50.00 is better than $300+

# RIM
* 6210
* 6280
* 7100g
* 7280
* 7290
* 7780
