Default 8130 pearl vs 8330 curve - 06-22-2008, 02:10 PM

Aside from the screen sizee and keyboard, are there any significant differences between the two??

I recently did a comparison of the 8130, the 8830, and the 8330 (Curve):

Sprint BlackBerry Comparison - 8830, 8130, 8330 | BlackBerryNews.com

Hopefully it will help a little.

Wirelessly posted (BB 8330)

There is more memory on the Curve.

I switched from the Pearl to the Curve. I miss the size of the Pearl, but really, the Curve isn't that much bigger. I am really enjoying all the shortcuts from the home screen if you have dialing from the home screen turned off. I.E.: pressing "U" to get the calculator, "B" to get the browser. Really makes accessing programs easy!

Get the Curve (8330), unless you really need a world-phone (8830).

Oops... I meant to say the 8330 curve instead of the 8830. I placed the order on sprint.com but at the end of the process is stated the 8330 is on backorder. SUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Anyone know how long it usually takes?

Let's also mention that Cnet ranks the Curve by Sprint as one of the Top 10 Phones with Highest Radiation
