Default Unlocking? TMOBILE TO ROGERS ATT??

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

I have a blackberry phone that I belive was used on T MOBILE and I think this because I used it on UNICELS service and it works, and tmobiles work with UNICEL.

I am moving to canada and figured I might as well hook my cell up with ROGERS ATT who sell these phones.

Now I dont have the phone on me so I forget the model #, but I am almost 100% postive its the 7230.

Now how can I check if for sure the phones locked....the guy who had it before me, may have purchased it without the plan....and if it is locked, how is the most ecconomincal way to go about unlocking it...if its too expensive, let me know if you wanna purhase it. thaks

There have only been like 10 threads in the past two days on unlocking phones...

Easiest way to tell if a phone is unlocked is to put another SIM card in it from another carrier.

The ONLY way (not necessarily economical) to unlock a BB is to send it to http://www.bongowireless.com and have them do it for $100.
