Default unknown BB application?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, folks,

One of my users brought up the following question. "I have a new icon that showed up on my blackberry 6750. Underneath the indicator that shows how many new messages have been received, there is a symbol that looks like an open book - two tablets side by side. What does this mean?". I haven't never seem the symbol before and I couldn't find in the Blackberry user guide or duplicated the same symbol in my blackberry. I called Verizon about this. They said they don't know. Is anyone of you know about this symbol? Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

It is not a new Application. It is not IRC or VNC.

It is showing that a new "Service Book" has been pushed down by Verizon to the BlackBerry.

Go to Options / Service Book, and "accept" the new Service Book.

The little book icon will go away.
