Greetings all!

We are looking at using a Blackberry for mobile access to our business clients while away on vacation (we are also looking at the Treo and PocketPC-based phones too). We don't much care about the phone functionality; we are primarily interested in email and web browsing.

The carrier we are looking at right now is Verizon, because it looks like they have the best coverage in the areas we need (we are based in zip 10940, and are vacationing at Disney, Orlando, FL).

We would like to know about the browsing speed and functionality. One of the facets of our business is web hosting, so we need to have access to our email and attachments as well as our web-based hosting control panel so that we can handle client requests while we are away.

If perhaps someone could point us to a way to look at what the website will look like on the Blackberry and how usable it is, that will help us make our decision.

Thanks!

The web browser is pretty rudementary, but functional.

If you use command line tools, there are SSH clients for the blackberry.

email wise, it rocks!

Thanks! We mostly administer our server through Helm, which is a web-based control panel. So we're looking to be able to read and reply to email, look at attachments, and access the control panel remotely.
