Default New minimum password W/ BIS

Please Login to Remove!

I just bought a refurb 8700 to replace my old one, I upgraded to OS 4.2 and transferred all my data. the only hair in my soup is that this handset requires a 5 letter password whereas my old 8700 only required 4. I would love to go back to my old 4 digit password (habit) but it tells me my password is too short.
I am using BIS w/ T-Mo not BES so there is no IT policy I am aware of.
(the new handset is a refurb cingular if that makes a difference)

Sounds like it has a policy on it, even though it's "refurbished."

Follow the instructions here:
