Default Saved Images Too Bright??

Please Login to Remove!

Any others noticed when saving any wallpapers/images they all appear really bright on phone once downloaded?
Is there a setting I can change to make the images a little more vivid? Having difficulty doing so on my 7250!

Thanks~

No way on the BB, however if you run the images first through Adobe photoshop or some similar software and bring up the contrast they will look a lot better on the BB.

I agree with KonTiki on using Photoshop or the equivalent to alter the images to suit your taste. Bring the images into an image-editing program and create a set of alternate versions. I tend to make images less obtrusive by reducing the brightness, but you could make them more vivid by boosting the color saturation and adjusting the contrast. You could also create a solid background of whatever color you prefer and make it as vivid as you like.

If you visit http://davidenglish.com/wml/index.wml with your Blackberry and choose "Unobtrusive Backgrounds," you can see sets of images I've varied using Photoshop. The Mountain Snow, Sky, and Vista sets include identical images that differ only in their brightness and contrast levels. The Blue set varies according to the shade of blue.

Create similar sets from your favorite images, load them into your BlackBerry, and keep the ones you like best.
