You may want to try a battery pull. The Icon is a Y.

I've tried a few times to DL the Yahoo go, but it keeps coming up with a message that YahooGo isn't available for the BB 8330. I've heard of other people using it though. Any ideas what the problem is?

What do you mean by this? If you are using a dimension theme, the application needs to be in the first 5 to show on the front screen. If you are using a today theme, then you can only access by clicking into the 'Applications' screen.

I have this loaded on my 8830 with no problems.

Try the show all apps on the main screen to make sure it didn't hide the icon when you downloaded!

lisajane I was using it for about 2 weeks but it kept freezing up my whole system, seem to use a lot of memory and didn't offer much different usable stuff than what is available through opera mini. It is still a beta app last I knew so the are still some bugs evidently, even some that yahoo acknowledged when I was having issues.

One other thing, I had the missing icon also and had to delete the app, do a battery pull, and reinstall it, It must leave bits of data somewhere either in the memory or at yahoo cause when I reinstalled it all my preferences were still there and so were my widgits, some of which still did not work correctly.

Works fine on my 8820 also. The application still has work to do though:
* Background source updates rarely work
* No way of eliminating all Yahoo mail references even though the widget is removed.

the problem i had was that the only menu item that would show up was "close". i've been in email contact with yahoo and trying to get a user manual that describes the shortcut key options.

i've since deleted it from 8300. not sure if i'll be re-installing it or not.

Downloaded 3.0 for my new 8310....it goes thru the setup and then freezes at the screen where it wants me to select the Language and Country. Done it 3 times and I have no choice but to pull my battery...

I hate yahoo mobile apps..buggy as hell....
