I have a company Blackberry and want to upgrade my handset. Will any Blackberry handset be compatible with my corporate BES?

Yes, any Blackberry model will work on the BES.

Yep, all BB`s works with BES

May need a re-activation by your local IT

Definitely will need an activation by IT. Or you can plug it in to your work computer if it has DM loaded on it, but a simple call to IT is the easiest way.

Do check with your IT crew about which models they support. Some have prohibitions regarding cameras, memory cards, etc. Nothing would ruin your day more than showing up with a shiney new BB and hearing, "Oh, sorry. We don't allow those."

Make sure you check with your IT staff first and make sure it is OK with them. Also keep in mind that their IT Policies will be sent to your BB and it could be locked tight.

As an FYI, I never recommend putting your personal device on the company's BES. Your personal info is no longer personal. Plus why go to the extra expense on your own? I doubt it will get you any "brownie points" with management.

The most that I would (that I do) do is push work email to my Blackberry. My work doesn't have a BES, they have IMAP email accounts, so I don't even have to worry about if I want to have the email or not, as it is my personal BB but can choose if I want to receive email after work hours. But I would never lock my BB into a BES network. There goes half of the features on the phone, and there's nothing that you can do about it except get it off the BES.

Check with your IT department. This is not an option with my company -- if the company doesn't furnish it, it is not allowed to be connected to our BES.

Depends on the company. We push out the default IT policy but nothing is restricted. YMMV.

True in theory, but not necessarily in practice. As an admin, I have the option to restrict devices that are allowed to be activated by model, carrier, ESN/IMEI ranges, etc.

So, the best option for the OP is to ask their BES Admin if there are any restrictions.
