It sounds to me like the "10 more" refers to the remaining number of unlock attempts. It sounds like you're not actually entering the code properly or you were given an incorrect code (though in the case of the latter your number of remaining attempts should decrement).

Are you actually hitting Enter or the trackball after entering the code?

hi rajks73, go to options advanced options, click on simcard, and type mep2. You wont see anything while you type, then after you put the code in hit the pearl ball for enter. Good luck.

The Blackberry Unlock codes are 8 or 16 digits.

As mentioned before, with the newer Blackberry you have 10 attempts that is what that # referring too. On older Blackberry, you have 250 tries. If you use all these tries, it is not possible to unlock your phone no matter what (flashing, hardware etc...cannot do it)

Every BlackBerry has a unique code. You either go to the carrier, or purchase a code.

I believe you can via software. Horizonwireless has this ability. The only issue is that the phone physically has to be there at the shop. Link in my sig.

Default How to unlock a Blackberry

Try Cell Phone Fixed in Seattle, WA (just type their name as one word to get there website--cellphonefixed). They can get unlock codes for GSM Blackberries, such as T-mobile, AT&T, Rogers, and Fido phones. They can get them for you remotely, wherever you are, and they offer a money-back guarantee.
