So I recently downloading and installed BDM 4.6.0.6 and was having a lot of success until this pass weekend where my XP laptop would BSOD. It seems that my USB drivers were corrupted to the point where if anything USB was plugged into my laptop, it would give the Blue Screen Of Death.

I had System Restore disabled so I was not able to do a system restore prior to the BDM installation, but I was able to delete the .inf and uninstalled all my USB devices. After the reboot of the laptop, everything else began to work as normal.

I am in the process of reinstalling BDM 4.5 and see if I can recreate my BSOD.

Has anyone else had any similar issues with BDM 4.6.0.6 running XP?

Have not seen anything specific, bit keep in mind that is an unreleased Beta product, kinda goes without saying that you install at your own risk.

Oh, I know, I was just wanting to see if anyone else has ran into this issue. Because I was close to buying some new RAM for my laptop until I dug deep to find out it was only a USB driver.

So I gave up on 4.6.0.6 and installed 4.5. I am now trying to re-add Password Keeper from the Application Loader, but its not available to just re-check the box like in previous DM's. How would I get it back?

I actually decided to stay with 4.5 as well.

Reload the OS to the pC.

So the OS on my device is .42 and dont have the .exe for it. However, I have .46, but havent installed it yet because .42 hasnt given me any troubles.

Have you heard any good or bad from .42 -.46?

Newer is usually better. With betas especially.

I second you on that. I would highly recommend installing the latest beta that available. There is always improvement.

I recently upgraded to OS 4.5--instructions on the Forum were right on. It worked great. I tried using DM4.5, but I am using Outlook 2000 and found out from a smart member you cannot do that. So I went back to 4.2. However, I tried to upgrade my bookreader and Bible from olivetree.com and could not. I reloaded the OS and everthing works fine now. I like the new OS, there are much clearer fonts, etc. I recently purchased office 07, but haven't installed it yet. Thanks for the info on dm4.6--i will wait to install that!

which DM is the most stable ?

4.2 Sp2.

I am using DM 4.5 and Outlook 2002 and they play nicely together.
