Is there anyway to set Blackberries so that when you move emails from the Inbox to another folder on the PC, it removes the email from your Inbox on the Blackberry?

I just get sick of constantly having to delete emails on it that I have read and filed.

Have you changed your settings to reflect this? If on BES, you can set your message folder to show Hide Filed and Sent email. Not sure if thsi works on BIS. Also, if you use PST files, it will not delete them off the BB.

We are running a BES. On the handset we went into the message options and noticed they are already set to Hide. Re-tested it and it does not appear to have fixed it.

We are also running .pst files so following on from the last post perhaps that is the problem?

Hard deletions and moves to PST files will not be reconciled.

I'd suggest setting up folders in your mailbox and setting up autoarchive to move that mail to the PST after some time. That will allow BES to reconcile and autoarchive will handle moving mail to your PST for you.
