Default What is "Service Provider" on SIM Card screen?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.

I asked a question about unlocking a 7730 a few weeks ago but never really got an answer so I thought I'd try again by re-phrasing the question

I have used an unlock service which appeared to work ok in that on the SIM Card Status screen "Network" changed from ACTIVE to INACTIVE as it's supposed to.

However, the phone will still not accept any SIM cards and I notice that the "Service Provider" field is still showing ACTIVE. I suspect this is my problem but canot find any reference to what this means.

Anyone got an idea about what "Service Provider" means on this screen?

Cheers,
Paul
