Default Please Help! Cannot hear/talk in 8820! No help from AT&T.

Please Login to Remove!

Last Friday, I was using my phone to listen to music in my car. I use an adapter for my audio port in my car. I suppose that the jack loosened the plastic housing in my earpiece jack on my Blackberry 8820. Ever since, I can receive and make calls with my phone but there is no reception (I cannot hear the caller and they cannot hear me)

AT&T says that it is 'physical damage' and will not fix my problem. What should I do? I have reset/wiped the phone and do not know if there is much else I can do. Are there any settings I can try or softwares I can download to test and repair the unit?

Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

that does indeed sound like physical damage, not software. Try a bluetooth headset or putting the phone on speaker.

No need for a bump, Sith already gave you the answer to try, if that doesn't work then hit ebay up for a 8820.
