I have had my BB 7250 on VZW since the 7250 first came out. I used to use it for both phone and data but the data kept knocking the phone off when it was out of the data range. I now carry both the cell and the BB. My question is how many out there carry both a celll and a BB? I want to go back to just carry one thing around. Just curious.

I've not carried both since we got our 7280's, and just recently replaced them with the 7250 from VZW. So I guess I'd say I've not had a solo phone in about 16 months. I'm not on the phone all that much though...70-80% of my usage is e-mail/data related.

I have a BB 7290 on the AT&T Network for Data Only and carry a Motorola V505 for all calls. I have not been able to give up my cell just yet. Actuially, I am not ready to get rid of it just yet. Kinda worried about it. Anyway, I carry both!

I remember the day of old or the "Bat Belt" as I like to refer to it as, ahh yes the cell, 2way, Palm... Since my 6710 and having all in one device you couldn't pay me to go back to anything but a single device.

next question, I work for a Canadian company but live in the US. I travel to Quebec and others. Stupid question, will I still be able to have all functions with the 7250 from VZW in Canada?

Yes, you'll probably end up roaming on the Bell Mobility network while in Canada. You may also want to consider a GSM provider Cingular,TMo.

I've been using a blackberry for phone and data for almost 2 years. I can't imagine a reason why I would use a separate phone for voice... the 7520 is great for both. No worries, you'll be fine.

I'm using the 7290 for data and phone, I actually moved my landline-office-number to the BB and after 4 weeks I am glad I did. Works out just fine. (Just got a Bluetoooth keyboard today). With that and the Bluetoooth earpiece this is the perfect communication.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

I replaced my i730 on Nextel and my iPAQ with a 7520 and haven't regretted it. The only other device I carry is a pager for work. Going back to the phone/PDA combo would be torture at this point.

I replaced my i860 with my bb (I still use it on weekends), however I would prefer to go to seperate devices like my old sk 2 days. Since I would be nice to referance something on the bb while on the phone (phone would HAVE to have BT).

BB 7290 for voice and data. I carry an unlocked Motorola V600 when I go overseas so I can use a local SIM card in it to reduce voice costs.
