Default Problem restoring address book from backup. Help!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

I have created a backup with desktop manager 4.5 and then deletel all data on my Pearl.

After that I activated my enterprise account. When trying to restore data everything loaded well but the address book.

When I try Advanced Backup and restore feature the address book entry is there but disabled.

Ther'a a message stating:

"Databases that are unavailable in the list have been configuered for wireless sync or wireless backup and are read only. you cannot restore or clear them"

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

rotodev.. welcome to the BBForums.

Disable wireless sync temporairly > Messages > Options > Email Reconciliation = Off.

Be sure to turn it back on.

Go to your address book > options > highlight and click your default address book > Wireless Sync = disable.

I just wanted to say thanks, as this helped me with restoring my Curve's address book too.

Just a side question though, what's the purpose of wireless synch on the address book?
