Question Battery life and available memory

Please Login to Remove!

Once i switched from by 8700 to the 8320, i noticed that the battery charge which normally lasted 3-4 days on the 8700 was gone in less than 18 hrs on the 8320.
At first i thought that this is due to the wi-fi always on. However, since i was low on memory ( around 6 mb) i decided to follow John's thread and to free memory. Once I was all done, i was up to 16MB of free space.. and low and behlod, my battery is lasting 3 days again.

Has anyone else experienced this? How is the battery life related to the amount of free memory available? It doesn't make sense to me.. but hey.

Default

Coincidence != causality.

Odds are that something was running that was consuming both battery and memory.
