Default Shape IM

Please Login to Remove!

last night i was able to setup my Shape all in one IM but today i can't login. all it get is this:
Error: 11 Can not check registration due to temporary database problems. Try again later.

Still won't work for me. I'm going to remove it and put it on my BB again..see if that works.

removing the app and putting it back on didnt work, neither did a battery pull

WEEKS later, still no good. no matter how many times i remove this app and put it back on my pearl it WONT let me re-enter a code...any help?

contact Shape support and they should be able to help you with your issue. Did you use the wizard to configure your app? If you need to re-register your app and your registration code has been used, you can to go their website and refresh your code.

already have been in contact with Shape..Have been since i first got the error. I can't even send the error log file..it just comes up saying "request not sent". and yes i did a auto config with the wizard. ill try going to their site...if its easy as that ill be mad at their CS for not telling me that.

I have been using IM+ for years and CS's been able to help with issues. So just hang in there...

They seem useless to me. Like they dont' understand my problem. i tell them whats wrong but even after i say that i can't send the log file after the error they tell me to send the error request, which i'm unable to do!!!
i wanna get this straightened out b/c i have a code that was given to me, then they gave me a code to try but i haven't been able to due to me not knowing how to re-enter the code, then i won a code one of the contests here on BBF

Had a idea, would wiping the BB do any good? Would that at least give me the option to enter in a code?

I won a code also in a contest here and I get the same message! I did all the sending log stuff though weeks ago and Shape said they would get back to me, still no response :( did everything including wipe my BB. Might be we got bad reg codes IDK

If you have reinstalled the app, and done the obligatory battery pull, then a device wipe is a reasonable next step.

While you are going through all of this, may I suggest you check out BeeJiveIM (JiveTalk)?

I won a IM+ code from one of the BBF contests as well. I have been having this same issue. I have been in touch with SHAPE about this. Not a big issue for me as I currently use BeeJiveIM. I would like to compare the 2 applications. No biggie for me though.

Glad im not the only one.....i hate it how it takes them forever to respond too, already ive waited 3 days for a response. i think ill try wiping everything and reinstalling it. hopefull that'll give an option to enter a code.....

how do i wipe it though?

Thanks...Oh, and right now i'm using JiveTalk. I like it but the only reason I want to get IM+ to work is b/c i have a code for it.

tryed to do a wipe but i cant get JL Cmder to work. I go to the link provided, then click on one of the links which leads to the download of JL Cmder. I download it and install it but when i try to start it up it gives me a error saying "C:\Program Files\JL_Cmder.cmd The specified path does not exist. Check the path, and try again."

any help?
