Default Pearl 8120 = 8110 with Wifi?

My question is very simple. Is the Pearl 8120 the same as the 8110 but with wifi? Does the wifi in a ATT Branded 8120 work without a data plan?

Yes, they are pretty much the same--one has WiFi, one has GPS.

You must still have a BlackBerry Data Plan for email, the BB browser, etc etc....

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 9000 4.6.0.67)

The blackberry model with WiFi and GPS is the 8820. GPS + WIFI + wireless network = dead pearl battery. The 9000 will have both as well.

CDMA has 3G though so WiFi is largely not necessary
