Tethering is a separate and extra-cost option with AT&T - call them to discuss

Not sure how you would accomplish that with the data plan. What source are you going to connect to? I have T-mobile and tethering is included in the unlimited 19.99 add on data plan. Great deal. Not sure why At&t hits you up for an extra charge. Best wishes.

sorry but i didnt mention that im new to the blackberry world...i was just wondering of it can be done...well im a widows mobile user...and all you need to tether with a windows mobile device is the usb cable, due to windows mobile has a program that lets you connect to your computer to tether...and i tether without a tethering plan...

i ask this question, cause im gonna get a bold when it comes out for AT&T, and im am not going to get it with the bb plan...and i know that messenger will not work without a bb plan, i just wanted to know if it also true for tethering...or all we need a the driver, and where can i get the drivers from...thanks in advanced...
