With the iPhone being released on rogers today, so too starts the promo period where users can get 6GB of data for $30 a month. I have it on good authority that new and existing users of BIS with Rogers can also sign up for this, As I understand it, these are the terms for both Fido and Rogers:

FIDO:
Eligible:
Monthly plan subscribers with voice plan.

Non-eligible:
Customers with:
iPhone plan
Data only plan

Requirements:
3-year agreement
iPhone 3G
Motorola Q9
Samsung Jack

ROGERS:

Eligible
New and existing BlackBerry users (BIS only)
New and existing PDA/Windows Mobile users.
2G phones or non Rogers phones are eligible for this offer if requested.

Non-eligible
Data only customers.
PC Cards not eligible

Requirements A voice plan on the account when adding the new promotional option is required
Existing customers must renew their service agreement on 3 year term

Term Length 3 year term
Data ECF applies

telus offerred unlimited for $15 per month, I got that rogers is still too expensive...if you are just using your bb for mainly heavy email you will use about 120mb per month
