I have an 8330 with Verizon service. I let it the power run down all the way by accident. When I turned it back on, all radios were off. Went into the connection manager and click turn on wireless coverage, it doesn't give me an option to save it.

It also says my service is 1xev. What does that mean? Any help is appreciated.

Was this device ever provisioned with the carrier??

You should not need to save anything when turning the radio back on. 1xev (in lower case letters) will present problems though as it's an indicator that data services aren't available. May be an issue with your coverage, service books (from the carrier), or other items. I'd try turning the radio off/on once more. If this doesn't address the issue, I'd call Verizon...

Not sure what that means but I've had this for over a month and it's a company paid deal, so I'm assuming the answer is yes. Work email, phone, web, everything has worked perfectly until I let the power go totally down so I'm guessing it's something that I'm not turning on right.

i've tried everything and still no data service. phone works fine though. anyone else having problems?
