Talking Bold! - 07-18-2008, 07:16 AM

I was able to check out the BOLD at WES. It was very nice. I wouldn't mind having one of those... this would be my 3rd post...I got to get moving.

Thank you,

My favorite thread: http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...plication.html

It opened up more communication doors to my friends that have not accepted the path of the Blackberry

I am relatively new to the community, but this one is my favorite

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ax-memory.html

This one has lots of useful information, beyond just teaching you how to optimize your memory. I've learned alot about how software is loaded and relates to my phone.

I always check the 8700 thread to see when new software is released

As a new BB user and newbie forum member I have to pick John Clark's memory optimization post cause it appears size matters, especially when it comes to free memory. So go there if you haven't already.

I have to go with:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/rim-...ve-policy.html

That thread about removing an IT Policy is what made me become a member of this wonderful online community in the first place! Thanks!

I was really pretty torn on favorite threads, but I think I have to go with the Blackberry Killer Software & Utilities thread (http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...es-thread.html) because it's where I got started looking at what else I could load on reasonably.

A close second would be the threads on memory management, because for some reason until I got things tuned down I seemed to be using a lot of memory....

John Clark's post about maximizing your BlackBerry memory has to be my favorite post of all time since I have been here. I use it every time I get a new device, to get rid of all the extra stuff on the BlackBerry. Thanks, John!

And I hope I win...

Oh man!! My all time fave thread is John Clark's directions for optimizing your BB memory. LIFESAVER!!! I have had to do this to my phone more than once now, and his directions have made my BB run so much better and faster. I have seen directions from other people on other forums, but his by far THE BEST!! I totally and highly recommend this post to anybody who is having memory leaks and losing their messages. It is possibly the best post on ANY forum, and so well written, so helpful, and utterly amazing!

Thanks John, and thanks BB forums!

This is my choice. When I got my first Blackberry I had issues with lost items and was about to dump the phone. Searching for and finding this link allowed me to set it up for maximum use.

It is really hard to pick only one post as this whole board has been helpful and continues to be since my conversion to BB from Palm.

Okay, if I have to pick one it would have to be the Blackberry FAQ. I also don't think enough people look at the FAQs, but they should. Many questions posted are already answered there, but you don't need me to tell you that, do you?

John Clark's memory post is a very close second.

there's too many good articles and/or post here on BBF. but giving back to the community is always a good thing to do whether it'd be a little or a lot, everything helps. great job BBF!
