Default "Checking For Updates"

I've been receiving what appears to be a response to a "Checking for Update" inquiry. (Red text on white background). It states the following,

"Invalid response received from Server. Exception during daily update Eof reached in TokenParser"

What does this mean?
What server are "they" referring to? I'm on an BB enterprise server, is that it?
What's a TokenParser?
How do I get rid of this pesty message? It seems to be present when I wakeup my Curve 8310 after a long hibernation.
