Newbie needs help with Nextel 7520

Default Newbie needs help with Nextel 7520

I got my 7520 and so far I am thrilled! I am moving off a Cingular PPC, so I have a few questions:

1. Is there no wireless sync capability between the BB and Outlook? I am not using BES.
2. On the mail screen, how do I navigate quickly through the icons? For instance, I am the icon on the bottom the page and I want to get to the calendar icon -- right now I am using the thumbwheel to scroll left to right until I get up to the icon I want -- there has got to be a better way!

make sure you turn off dial from home screen and you can use shortcut keys m=mail c=compose a=address b=browser l=calander and so on and so forth

yes go to phone options and general options the turn off dial from home screen

thanks Dawg! Couple of other questions --

1. is there a guide somewhere that shows you all these neat shortcuts?
2. is there no other way to sync except with a cable? I miss the infrared from the PPC
3. how do I set up hotkeys?
