Was wondering what the average price people pay a month for nextell unlimited data and unlimited voice on the 7520 BlackBerry.

Ordered mine today... but the monthly bill is alittle stiff

I plan on reading through all the helpfull posts on the forum..... you guys are what really made me take the plunge

I pay 166. a month for two phones my blackberry 500 all free incoming and unlimited bb
wifes i730 300 all incoming free no data

Most of our 7520's have National NDC Unlimited Voice (199.99) plus Unlimited BB Data (44.99). Total with taxes is about $250.00 per month per device.

Some of our 7520's got in on a promotional rate where they get the unlimited voice for 129.00. Total with taxes is about $180.00 per month for those devices.

Without the gov discount, my bill would be $120. unlimited data, 600 national free incoming + nights and weekends. my coverage has been really good in metropolitan areas.

Penguin there is an unlimited phone plane for 149.00 the 199.00 includes data that you don't need. It should be available in all non-partners markets. Just call and ask about it if you like e-mail and I look into your account more and get you all the info or anyone else for that matter.

I pay 59.00 for the following:

600 anytime minutes
Free nights/weekends
Free Incoming
Free Long Distance
Voicemail and all the caller ID stuff

I pay $34.99 for unlimited BB.

Also, I have a couple of tips that might help you out when it comes time for your bill.

* I called Nextel because I was going over my 600 minutes a month. I told them that I would like to increase my minutes and the associate told me that since I am a good customer, that they would provide me with an additional 500 'bonus' minutes a month. So I have a total of 1100 minutes a month. I always thought that they would disappear one day, but they haven't and it's been about a year and a half.

* If you have anything on your plan like free evenings/weekends or free incoming then you only have to pay $34.00 a month for your unlimited BB instead of the $44.00. I don't know if this is for new customers to the BB world, or it applies to existing customers if they ask.

Basically I have the BB and an I730 on the account and I pay about what Dawg pays, maybe a little less because of the government discount.

That is the price I got ...then our corp discount.

Do you think I should keep my i730 for voice or talk using the BB? I think carrying 2 units would be to much, not to mention plugs and accessories for both plugged into the car, but the BB looks nothing like the phone I am use to using.

They had a 149.99 plan( unlimited voice) in Fla that was/is awesome, but since the big merger they decided to nix the plan....
have the plan for my wife, sure wish I could get it- oh well - day late an $$ short

I have TMO and my bill is $49.99 for unlimited Mobile-To-Mobile, 500 anytime and free N/WKNDs. I added an unlimited BB data plan for $19.99. My bill is somewhere around $74 dollars. I think it is well worth it...

I have the 7520 with unlimited data (49.95) and free incoming national 500 with unlimited direct connect (55.00) I have added telenav for $10 and man, it's great.

I also have the 7520 with the unlimited data (34.99) and the "free incoming 500 (55.99) and Telenav 10 (10.00)

my bill averages beetween 115 and 120 depending on how many times im to lazy to use berry 411 and call Nextel 411..I also get a government discount

Well, considering you don't have unlimited anytime minutes, just 500 anytime minutes your comparison is apples to oranges. Most of the Nextel plans listed above are for unlimited anytime minutes, no restrictions. Plus in my case, T-Mobile only works for me on the highways (interstates) and outside. I don't get any building penetration with a TMobile 7230 at the office nor does any T-Mobile phone work at my house (even ever up the street). Also my Nextel 7510 BB will work almost anyware in rural Ohio and almost all multifloor buildings in said rural Ohio. My wife and my spring PCS phones can't do that and neither will T-mobile (but the cingular TReo 650 I tested did work in those cases).

So yeah, half the price for 25% of the coverage and reception. T-Mobile is a deal if it can work for you. For us, it can't. and I wish it could. just look at the voice and data rates. T-Mo's are the lowest. but half the price for a phone or BB that only works 25% of the time is not a deal in my book. We used to use T-Mo at work. It just wasn't worth it.

How are some of you getting your unlimited data plan for $34.99? Was it a promo? Signed up for it years ago when that was the going price? I thought it was pretty much 44.99 everywhere (with voice plan) for unlimited and 34.99 w/3mb limit.

when I signed up if you didnt know about it they wouldnt just give it to you I had to ask for it

my company pays 29.99 a month for my crackberry... 3000 on peak 500 N/W and unlimited data. its a dealer pricing .. but anyways.. to your question its 45 bones for the data. and voice your looking at around another 50 when your done with it all after taxes look to be paying about 120-125 for the phone a month "FYI thats high estimating"
