Pocket Day Pro has started constantly accessing the network.........as soon as I exit PDP the network requests stop. Turn it back on and off the arrows go. I don't see anything in the setting to cause this, and it didn't do it prior to today.

Any ideas?

Yes this happened to me a couple of days ago. I had to reboot and pull the battery before I could get it to stop. I have had it happen once or twice before.

This may be based on how often you have the RSS feeds scheduled to update the feeds. you can check the frequencey of your updates by going to settings>RSS settings>add new feed from list>close>RSS feed Setup window and note the Refresh interval, try checking manual and you can manually update your feeds when you are ready to read them.This was happening to me also and I noted that the refred intervals was set at every 5 minutes. This might help.

Yes. My 7520 is doing it also. I think I narrowed it to PocketDay, as when I exit out of PD it stops. The minute I turn PD back on, it accesses the network constantly. Drains my battery too!!!

my 7520 was doing it also had to delete it i couldnt get 8 hours out of a battery I had rss updating at 630 amd and that was it

THANK GOD others are having this issue, I thought I was going a bit crazy!! Mine has had this issue on and off for about one to two months. I am sure it's the PocketDay application as I, like others in this post, am able to stop the constant send/receive of data by closing the application. It doesn't have to do specifically with the addition of the RSS feeds as mine was having this issue well before the professional version was released. I have escalated this issue to simprit who designed the application with no resolution. I would hate to lose my PD application, especially since I paid the $20 for it, but when it is constantly accessing the network like that I find my BB dead after no more than five hours! Plus there's the missed calls and missed/late messages.

I don't have an answer, but I would sure like one!
