Default BES & Hotmail

Please Login to Remove!

We use BES. I have a user that added a personal Hotmail account to their 8820. It appears that Calendar synching is confused. Not all Lotus Notes Calendars entries are making it to the BB. In an effort to resynch the calendar I was going to do a RSET in the Calendar options but when I went to do it, it was pointing to the Hotmail Account, not the BES account. I am trying to find out how to reset the Calendar to point to the Desktop and not Hotmail.

ANY CLUES?

Newer BB's support multiple calendars. I'm not very familiar with them but I recommend that you have the user delete the Hotmail account from the carrier's BIS site and delete all related service books on the BB (which will include the CICAL/calendar service book for Hotmail).

I wonder of EMPOWER would work. My problem now is that Hotmail has hijack the calendar and I cannot find a way to point the calendar back to the desktop (BES).

Deleting the service book (and removing the account from BIS so the service book isn't pushed to the BB again) should do it. Again, I don't use BIS so I can't really confirm this.
