to save movies? any size media card will work. movies can range from very small to several hundred MB. with the price of cards being what they are, you can usually get a 4gb microSDHC for less than $25 shipped. videos4blackberry.info is a great site

Pirated movies range anywhere from 690MB to 4.39GB...movies taken from disc can be a full 8GB. There are of course compression programs to reduce this.

But a properly formatted movie for a curve should be about 200-300MB. So a 4GB card should be able to hold about 10 movies.

True properly formatted, all my figures were before making it more usable on your phone.

Whatever size is required to hold the desired movies... It's not a one-size-fits-all question especially since variations in encoding, movie content and movie length can all affect the size of the video file.

Get the biggest one you can. You can't have too much space -- especially with videos.

I have the blackberry pearl and I use a 2G card. When I resized my movies to make them smaller .avi files(sorry..I'm not overly tech savvy so I'm not sure of terms) I was able to fit about 7 movies on it and a ton of music.
