So I have had it with my iphone and switched to Blackberry. I tried to update my iphone software to the 2.0 firmware and ended up rendering my phone useless. I would have called apple support but no....my phone was useless. To add injury to insult I ran across this cartoon while trying to find information on how to fix my phone startuptoons.com/2008/07/14/bricked-iphone-20/

I think that the 2.0 upgrade problems were just a ploy to get users to come into the stores and buy the new generation phone. Screw that, I went and picked up my crackberry and will never go back.

What a mess AT&T had on day 1 of the new iPhone. I had friends that waited forever and then went home with a phone that wasn't activated- told to activate on-line later in the day. What a fiasco!!

This whole thing about iPhone is such a scam and I just can not believe that FCC and others are just letting it happen. Even Apple got slapped in EU but here it is just too much.
I know most users in US are not that educated when it comes to what they are getting into. I wish people change their behavior of getting device thru carrier.
