My ex-girlfriend has a BB as do I. She has been reading every text that I have sent and recieved. I changed my number but I dont know if she can still access my texts. Does anyone know more about this? Will it work since I changed my number? What did she do?

She didn't hack pip.

She might have simply read them off your BB. If you did a backup, she could access the IPD backup file.

Keep it locked how? I use the key lock function. I have Alltel if that matters.

I hadn't seen her in a week so I know she didn't look at my phone physically, but she knew who I talked to and what was said..... When I asked her about it she answered with smerk and was obviously with holding information from me.

I changed my number just earlier tonight and havent heard from her. I texted this other girl and things are good so far.

someone correct me if im wrong but there is NO WAY to hack someones BB to see their sent and received text. if she has access to your TMO account she could add an automatic BCC to herself from one of ur email accounts but u said text messages so....try using a password lock

Yes you could see phone numbers via account management and yes you could add BCC of sent to email but not SMS. There is one third party application that could be installed that gives you access to texts online. The software is DexRex.Choose show all in your icons and see if it is there. Changing your number would have stopped the application from monitoring.

I would imagine that this is a human problem and not a technology problem. She has insight because she is probably seeing them relayed from another person or the device, but she is not hacking them. I think she would have to be pretty savvy technology wise to do this. Not out of the realm of possibility, but unlikely for the average user.

Good practice to have your phone password protected. Won't protect you from losing your phone, but won't put your data in someone else's hands.

Also, anything that is in print can be forwarded...be mindful of what you write. Works in business, why not here?

Well since BlackBerry has never been hacked, i find it extremely unlikely that your texts were "hacked". Forwarded from someone else possibly. Better yet, she might be talking to this girl and you dont know about it.

I seriously doubt your BB was hacked.
