Default What software to use?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have an 8110, which connects to my emails at work - this has all been set up by the IT chaps at work.

I would like to load stuff, apps (and remove apps), music pics etc at home. I was going to load Blackberry Desktop Software 4.3 - but the install wizard wants me to select Blackberyy Enterprise Server or Blackberry Internet Service - I don't want to mess about with gets it messages from work - what should I load at home??

Cheers.

But I would rather not connect the blackberry to anything when using it from my home computer - I would rather leave all the message stuff to the work computers.

All I want to do at home is upload download apps, music etc

Choose the BIS option for a home install.

It's not really asking you if you're on BES. It's effectively asking you if your PC is on the same network as the BES server.

If you install with the BES option at home you'll break email delivery when you connect your BB.
