Default delete voice mail without listening to it

Please Login to Remove!

I did a search on this I swear so my apologies if it's here already. Is it possible to delete a voice mail (not just the icon) without even listening to the message?

Thanks all!

yes just off your phone as if you listened to it then deleted it. I have a rat friend that calls 100 times a day and will leave multiple VM's saying the same dang thing... "Call me" I don't want to have to go through all the steps of dialing, listening, and deleted when I know what it's going to say.

You got a friend problem, not a BB issue.

With T-Mobile you can delete a vm within the first couple of seconds of starting it. You do have to dial in your vm number and connect though. AFIK, the iPhone's Visual Voicemail is the only service that lets you delete messages without calling in.

Youmail! Youmail!

You can delete from the web without listening to an annoying friend.

You can use a program like you mail and simply delete from your pc from time to time.

You would really need to ask the other Verizon users. Voicemail isn't part of the BB itself. It's whatever system your carrier decided to implement.

Though alternately, you can choose to use systems such as Youmail. I'd actually recommend that you check into it. One feature is that you can have distinct voicemail greetings for different callers. You can even send callers to a greeting that doesn't even accept messages which sounds perfectly suited for your situation.

He's always got the best idea, but just to further it. Youmail and you can set up a number to "ditch" which means whenever he calls, caller ID from Youmail will pick it up and will just hang up on him (after whatever message you want him to get).

Unfortunately, I have a similar problem. The way I erase it without listening is by pressing 3,3,7 while in the VM.
