I have been to a couple of web sites that indicate that I need Java downloaded to be able to fully view the site. As I indicate that I want to download Java, nothing seems to happen, and it doesn't appear that the app has downloaded. Am I just ignorant or do I need to go to the Java website and scratch my head as to what I need. I have an 8830, and Sprint is my provider. Seems awfully slow, by the way. JG

Your device's OS is written in Java, so, I'm not sure what you would download. Go into your Browser options and make sure that you have them set correctly. Otherwise, you may just have to use a third party browser to view the pages.

What sites were you trying to view?

As for the speed, it will seem slow compared to your high speed cable internet, but it is fast for a mobile device (except for 3G devices).
