Default APN settings.

I'm having trouble getting APN settings for BBtoday and BBweather. I've done all these settings
Quote:
T-Mobile - Has TCP/IP
Go to Options->TCP (or Tools->TCP)
APN: wap.voicestream. com
Username: (blank)
Password: (blank)
Note: T-Mobile has fixed the port-blocking issue - see this post for more info. In rare cases, it is reported you may need to enter your T-Mobile username and password, the same information used for logging into t-mobile Unsupported Browser ... If it still does not work properly, just call T-Mobile (call after Feburary 11th, 2005), and ask them to get the "wap.voicestream. com Internet Access Point Name" added to your BlackBerry account at no extra charge.
The only thing i'm not sure about is when I called t-mobile they did not know what "wap.voicestream.com Internet Access Point Name" was. is there something else this is called by.

once you set wap.voicestream.com (no space between . and com as shown in your post) under TCP you shouldn't have to set it anywhere else.

are the programs you listed the only ones you are having trouble with, or are they the only ones you've tried? do you have opera mini working? if it works, then your APN settings must be ok.
i have BBToday and it works great for me.

the way i read it in your original post, it is just saying that the apn wap.voicestream.com must be active on your account. i'm pretty sure it is by default, and if opera mini is working that would seem to confirm it.

as for BBToday, I have version 1.6, is that the one you are trying? My permissions are set to Allow Custom Allow

that's about all i can suggest unless you can contact the vendor and see if they have any advice.
