Default E-mail and Ramble

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, I don't know how to get my Blackberry e-mail or my other e-mail onto my blackberry. I, also, am having trouble getting linked to the ramble aim. It just keeps trying to log in. It never actually logs in though. I need help! Can someone show me the way?

Thank You,
Zuke

A couple of questions for you. Are you on a BES? If you are on a BES, then you will need to have the Admin set up your account. If not, then you will need to set your Email up on your BWC (Blackberry Web Client). What Service Provider are you on? AT&T, Cingular, Nextel, Etc? Example: I log into the BB Web Client and set up the client to grab my mail and forward it to my BB. Then when I get home, it pulls that mail to my Outlook Client.

For Ramble, use this link BlackBerry IM Chat Apps/FAQ - MSN/AIM/ICQ/Yahoo/Google [UPDATED] to get all the information on CHAT APPLICATIONS you will need. I hope this helps.

I am having the same issue with my 7250 from verizon. It worked before, then I tried using it the other day and it hangs at logging in. I am tempted to delete all the service books and start over, but I am kinda nervous about doing that. Any help would be much appreciated. FYI no bes.

Check the other threads about Ramble for the answer, or do a search. No need to touch the service books.

I can't stand it when people post "do a search" assuming I haven't already. Nothing against you personally, I just say, don't post "do a search" if you don't know the answer. I search before posting most of the time, so does anyone else have this same issue with a Verizon 7250 non bes BB?

well if you had done a search you would see that ramble has been down for over a week and does not appear to be able to be fixed

Yeah, unfortunately, that's an obvious search result. Usually I don't have a whole lot of success with the search capability and specific thread topics, but in the case of Ramble it's been a pretty hot topic of discussion recently.

A search on "Ramble not working" returned this: Ramble: Stuck on "Logging In"

My apologies to everyone, I came from a board that did nothing but bash "noobs" and all they said was "do a search!" to most of the new guys; which iritated me because if I knew how to fix it, I would just post it; knowing at one time I was a "noob" myself. I did a search for "Ramble Verizon 7250" and did not see this thread. It's all about how you search I guess.
Thanks TheWastedYears, that helped! It was exactly what I was looking for!

There's certainly an artform to searching. Those of us who've had any dealings w/ Citrix and Microsoft knowledge bases have mastered it.
