Smartone-Vodafone has a Chinese Strokes Input software available for download, but it requires activation so being a non-Smartone-Vodafone Blackerry user, I cannot use it.

Have someone come across this software somewhere else that works for all?

I have 8320 with Asian OS that has Chinese stroke input support so I think the Asian version of the 8120 OS would support it. May be you can try if you do not have it on your device. Just follow the instruction posted on the forums. Not sure about the Bold though.
