Default Force an OS Downgrade

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, it seems as though the latest OS for 8700 - 4.5 - cause JiveTalk to crash. How do I force the Desktop Manager to downgrade to an OS that I just installed and downloaded? It seems as though it will only upgrade?

Use JL_Cmder to wipe the OS then you should be able to install the downgrade normally.

Thanks, JL_Cmdr did indeed wipe my BB. I then started launched the latest Desktop Software 4.5, clicked the App Loader and then the Update Applications button, but it said "... fatal error can't load something or other". Anyway, I then went to the AppLoader directory and found the Loader.exe, launched it, and now it is in the process of reinstalling OS and apps. My question is, all the posts seem to first instruct people to go through the Desktop Manager after wiping - why not just use Loader.exe? It worked without a hassle on the first try. Also, did I really have to wipe to downgrade? Or could I just have used Loader.exe? Last question, why is it necessarry to delete Vendor.xml?
