Yes - The Amazing Kreskin knows all!

Most of this is in O/S 4.5 which has started deploying elsewhere (not yet AT&T).

But if I download OS 4.5 from the 8300 series link, will everything work? Nothing will be crippled? Will I have to configure internet settings manually? I have an 8310 on AT&T.

Operating systems are unique by device, not by provider. So any 8310 firmware update will work on your 8310 device.

Right I know it will work but will I have to like re configure anything like internet settings because it isn't att branded? Are there any disadvantages to using the new firmware?
