Default Selling Blackberry - Need To Cancel Webclient Account

Please Login to Remove!

I am selling my blackberry on ebay.

When I was in the Cingular store to get my new phone, I had them cancel the blackberry service, but they didn't cancel the weblicent account.

Who do I contact to cancel the webclient account so the person who buys my blackberry can use the webclient with thier own account?

Is there separate blackberry support?

Any advice on what to do will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian Weber

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry7100/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

When you find how to do the above, please let me know. I have a buddy who sold his unit and the new user can't activate her unit. The other user can use the unit. Calling Cingular is like giving birth.

Call you carrier and tell them to release you IMEI and PIN, make sure you've paid your final bill!

buzz words! you need to know them.

call the cingular data division. i don't know the support line. talk to someone in their web-support call center (you may get transferred around). but once you get to that point, tell them you need to have a pin number and imei number for a particular unit removed from web-client. they shouldn't give you much trouble.

you will probably have to provide authentication, like who the unit belongs to under that account (the phone number will be the best authentication for them).

I want to thank everyone for your help.

I asked for the data division and they said there is not a direct transfer. They gave me 1-800-304-3044 to call. It is the support number for blackberry's and other PDA's.

They took care of it for me at 1-800-304-3044, option 1 for blackberry's.

Thanks,
