Default Blackberry 7520 Bluetooth functions

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all!

I have read quite a few posts, so if I missed the answer to this I apologize.

I was reading through the Blackberry functions for use with Bluetooth. It looks like the biggest function is, of course the headset. I also see some people trying to use keyboards with mixed success.

My question is - Are there any other functions that could be used with Bluetooth? I was considering picking up a Bluetooth~USB adapter for my laptop, but wasn't sure if it could be used with the Blackberry, and if so, what it did.

Please let me know!

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7520/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.12)

There is no profile for that as of now, apparently the BB has all profiles but require an unlock that NO ONE can get. May it be thru an encryption key or password. So save your money on the dongle.

I know you can't actually sync with bluetooth...it's been discussed many times before...but yesterday, I paired my 7100t with my Mac just out of interest. The strange thing is, when I looked under device properties on the 7100t, it had "Bluetooth-PDA-Sync" listed under "Services:".

How come it has this listed if there is no profile?

Cheers

Because it probably is there... just disabled. The Mac doesn't know that, however.

You can also pair 2 BB's and get a similar message, but it doesn't seem to do anything!

I tried pairing 2 identical BB's, and it wouldn't even see either of them...
