the 7510 only had the nextel browser. i have been using the new browser (for some reason, both browsers are included) for the last few minutes, and many of the sites i could not go to before< i can now access. for me the upgrade is great.

I heard there were a lot of Bluetooth improvements and improved support for J2ME MIDP/2.0 midlet applications. (4.0.0.160 was pretty buggy in many respects)

However, download at your own risk, of course.

IMHO - Huge improvement in Bluetooth. Volume in headset is much louder, less static, less echo than in 4.0.0.319.

I loaded it. I noticed it updated the attachment services. I sent myself a .xls file and a .midi file.

It opened the .XLS file perfect (which I don't think it did before), however it still wouldn't open the midi...

I see no difference aside from all my installed programs missing. God I hate updating this thing, at least it does a good job at backing up all the messages and calls.

Nextel User: How long did it take for the other browser to show up?

edit: Arrrgh, I shut it off and turned it back on and now it's just sitting at the hour glass. This couldn't happen at a worse time either.
