Hi folks,

Had my 7520 (Nextel) for a little over a month now and love it of course. I have BWC setup to pull messages from a POP3 account in addition to the nextel.blackberry.net account.

Tonight however I noticed my home PC was receiving email but the blackberry was not. So I sent a test message and didn't receive it within a few seconds so I knew something wasn't right. I powered off and back on and recieved about 8 messages, some from the POP and some from the BWC email address. I'm fairly new to the BB but one thing I have done for the past month is not worry about receiving email. Any insight into this situation?

sometimes the system needs to be burped this is exactly why i dont pop anymore I forward everything through a gmail account

Well I have a gmail account now, so I will test out the forwarding function. I can't really forward my existing POP accounts since that bypasses the spam filtering.

gmails spam filters are better than any i have seen i thought same as you but I have not recieved one piece of spam since i started using my gmail account as the send all

I have not gotten a single piece of Spam though my Gmail account either. Gmail is the way to go! Look at this thread.
