Default Got 7510

Please Login to Remove!

I broke down and got the 7510 yesterday, could not wait any longer, I know the 7520 is coming out soon, but because I am a firefighter i got the 7510 for a good price.

But one of the questions I have is there anything special or special programs that i should get for this?

I would like to get the 4.0 OS so if anyone wants to help me get that it would be great.

will the 4.0 OS have something to roam the net with?

Another question i have is for my mail server

I can access my email from the web by going to mail.company.net
so to get my email do i add a message rule to have my email fowarded to me, or does anyone have an easier way to get my email on the BB.

Thanks,
Smk

For mail, your BB 7510 via Nextel I assume? Comes with a service called BWC (Blackberry Web Client) where you can setup your POP3 email accounts. Doing this will allow you to have the BWC poll for email from your POP3 accounts and forward them to your BB.

well i got it after about an hour or so of playing with the email on the mail.company.net

so for anyone else i would say to goto fowarding then type in .,yourname@nextel.blackberry.net

this will also send a copy to the normal address name but also cc your bb

this only took about a 12 pack of beer.

smketer, with your bb were you able to goto this web address

http://mymail.companyname.com?

I was wondering the same thing, being that this is a MS Outlook web access site.

Does anyone know why some sites (most) require you put in www first? The site listed above will not work if you input www first. Just wondering.
