Question Favorite BB model

Please Login to Remove!

Over the last 2 yrs, i've had three different models (8700, 8800 and 8320) and hands down i have to say that i like the 8700 model best. This is because there is space between the keys and typing is soo much easier. The keys on the 8800 are too close while on the 8320 they feel plastic. If the 8700 had Wi-Fi I think it would be the perfect device. This is of course if you are not after fleshy looks.
And on the same note, the visible damage from drops is minimal on the 8700, which cant be said for the 8320. The silver coding on the menu key is already gone from pushing it too much

So, what is your favorite model and why?

I gotta say my RIM 950....

All joking aside, 8320 is my persnal favorite. But Sith said it all, "8700 for durability, 8120 for size, 8800 for battery life." and hes right!

7520. Good build quality, RF, sound quality and it has direct connect. Did I mention good build quality?

I have to say I love the 8320, but I am using the 8120. I just love the PEARL's size.

I've never had problems typing on any of these models. Well, not the 8320 but I'm guessing it's pretty much the same as the 8310. Keyboard preference is very much a subjective matter (and very much influenced by the size of one's hands and dexterity) though.

I've dropped my 8310 several times on concrete without any visible damage. It does, however, have a full body Invisible Shield on it. The 8700 will suffer cosmetic damage from being dropped on concrete without any protection -- that's from personal experience. It's precisely why I stick full body kits on all of my new BB's. Any model newer than a 7290 really needs some sort of protection if you're nitpicky IMO.

8310. Comes closest to having all the features that I want in a BB.

Still funny to me to see people saying that considering many of the early posts on the 8700 like this one:
http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ek-report.html

If you want a tank of a BB a 7290 or older is the way to go. Still, our employees have managed to find creative ways to destroy even those tougher older models.

8700, if it had a camera, I would still be using it.

I like my 8310 the best. I would probably like the 8320 just as well.
